As reported last week, Google has been testing a new product at the company's experimental division Area 120 called "Reply". The Google Reply, as the name suggests is an app designed in a way to expand Google's predictive reply algorithm to third-party messaging apps like -- WhatsApp, Twitter DMs, Facebook Messenger or any other. Although not available officially, Google Reply app is now leaked onto APKMirror and all Android users can get their hands-on to the app by downloading it in their respective handsets.

As reported by 9to5google first, the APK file of the Google Reply application has been leaked onto APKMirror on Tuesday. The app is currently available for download and can also be set up by anyone. All that you would require to set up the Google Reply app on your device is a Google Account. It should be noted that, as of now, only the Android users can download the APK version of the app.

The Google Reply app is designed in a way to show reply suggestions which are based on several factors like -- location, previous conversations, and general recommendations. To set up the app on your Android device, you'll need to allow the app to access your notifications. In order to get best reply suggestions, the app requires you to enable the location option as well. Having an access to your location will basically be useful for the app to show better reply suggestions.

For instance, imagine someone asking of your whereabouts or how late you'll be to work, Google Reply app will basically take into consideration your location and calculate how far you're from office and suggest a reply accordingly. The app can also suggest vacation replies based on your phone calendar. The location will also let the application detect when you're driving or riding a bike so that it can automatically reply for you that you're busy and will take some time to replying.

There are also options available such as -- 'on a train', 'walking', and 'during a meeting' and the app will send across these replies in case it finds you busy. Note, if the app detects that you are busy driving or riding it will automatically place your device on Do Not Disturb mode and send an automatic reply. This automatic reply will reportedly start off with a robot emoji so that the recipient will know that it is an automatic response and you haven't typed it.

Amidst all of that, Google has reportedly confirmed that even though the Reply app asks for permission it doesn't store any of them. The app claims that the notification access is "deleted immediately."

The APK file of the app can be downloaded from here, after which it will ask you to link to Google Account, on doing that, the app will require you to provide access to read notifications, check your calendar, and track location in order to offer contextual replies.

The Google Reply app will reportedly work with third party apps like -- Android Messages (SMS), Facebook Messenger, Skype, Twitter DMs, and WhatsApp.
